Massive congratulations to the Mayo u17 Celtic Challenge panel and management after a nailbiter of a win away to Meath Greens in St. Loman's Park, Trim today.
After a slow first half with a lot of wides from a visibly strong Meath team, the Mayo boys burst out of the blocks straight away in the 2nd half and after a serious shift and 2 goals in their pocket, they came out the victors after 64mins.
Well done to club coach, Michael Bolger, and club players, Mark Healy and Jack Rooney for flying the Ballina Stephenites flag and representing the club so admirably.
