The Anthony Golden Schools Hurling tournament was played out in glorious sunshine in James Stephens Park on Tuesday 12th May. 
Garda Anthony Golden was a proud hurler and a school friend of many of us. His life was unfortunately cut short in 2015 in the line of duty. 
This memorial tournament began in 2016 as a way to honour his memory and to promote the sport he loved.
The tournament plays host to boys and girls from 3rd to 6th class.
